Funded in July 2006 by Jean-Louis de Bougrenet de la Tocnaye (head
of the Optics department of ENST Bretagne) and by Pascal Gautier (engineer
specialist of liquid crystal), Lixys SA is a spin-off company of TELECOM Bretagne
(engineering school located in Brest, France).
The department of Optics is an internationally recognized laboratory in
the
field of liquid crystal applications:
Lixys proposes an innovation in the field of individual protection for
welders as well as optical shutters for various applications (see products and services). Lixys has exclusive licences and ownersheep one three patents and owns one for fast liquid crystal shutters. Lixys has raised funds in July 2006. |
